What is Disaster Case Management

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the North Carolina Disaster Case Management Program (NC-DCM) is available to guide survivors through the recovery process. After you complete the initial needs survey, a case manager will help you to: 

  • Make a recovery plan that fits your needs
  • Help you find available resources
  • Work through challenges caused by the storm

How to get started:

Fill out the NC-DCM survey online or call 844-746-2326 to describe your needs. A case manager will contact you as soon as possible to start your recovery plan make a recovery plan that fits your needs.

Who can get help? 

NC- DCM assists individuals with unmet needs due to Hurricane Helene and who either live in one of the 39 disaster-impacted counties or are members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. You can get help from the program even if you have not applied for FEMA assistance.​
